Character Crush: Whitfield Bass of Seducing His Heart

Character Crush

Because Authors Have Crushes Too!

1.  What
attracts you to Whitfield and why is he or she your character crush?

He’s handsome on the outside but scarred by a terrible childhood
on the inside. He reached out to me
2.  Does Whitfield believe in love?

He doesn’t think he does, but he does in his heart.

3.  What
has been the biggest conflict in Whitfield’s life?

Falling in love and
wrestling with making a commitment. He’s a marriage- phobe.
4.  What
makes Whitfield sexy?

The way he looks, his success, his enjoyment of mocha cake and
the way he makes slow and sweet love to women.
5.  What
challenges did your character have growing up?
He had a horrible childhood. His mother deserted the family
after he was born. His father was one of four boys and his father was a
journalist, who traveled extensively. His next oldest brother hated him. Whit
was raised mostly by his brother who was 11 years older than he. His childhood
was a nightmare.
6.  If Whitfield were doing a sexy photo shoot, what would he wear?

Whit would wear a suit, crisp shirt and tie that brought out his
clear gray eyes and almost black hair. With his shoulders, a suit would look
awesome!
7.  How
does Whifield define eroticism or romance?

A curvy woman who desires
him as much as he desires her.
8.  What’s
sexy to Whitfield?

A woman who cooks, is giving, loving and caretaking, as well as
has a curvy body, flesh he can get a grip on.

9. Would Whitfield  lick Jell-O shots off someone’s body?

Yes, but I think he’d
prefer mocha pudding.

10. Use
the first three words that pop into your mind to describe Whitfield:

Gorgeous, wounded, sexy
            Blurb

Anyone would be a marriage-phobe,
too, if they grew up in Whitfield Bass’s house. After he was born, his mother
deserted the family. Their father, a journalist, traveled extensively and left
his four sons with relatives, or babysitters. Whi
t’s closest brother hated him and blamed him for their
mother’s desertion. Whit told Bess he’d never marry, never trust a woman not to
take off and leave him with a house full of broken children who couldn’t be
fixed. Can you blame him?
