the confidence that only comes from being a performer. And if that’s not

never base my characters physical attributes on real people. When characters
pop into my head and begin a conversation, they’re fully formed – hair color, eye
color, skin tone, everything. And so to me Noah has always looked like…Noah.
However, as a reader I understand the interest in learning who the author
believes their character most closely resembles. For me that person would be
trait about Noah is his one track mind. When he wants something, he goes out
and gets it, no matter what it takes. The first time he laid eyes on his
heroine, Isabeau, he wanted her. He wanted to show her what she was missing, by
ignoring her music the way she was. He wanted to share with her what it took
him years to figure out: Denying who you are is nothing but a waste of time,
time you never get back. But that one track mind got him in trouble when he
became so focused on what he wanted that he didn’t see the big picture. As a

automobile accident took her mother’s life, Izzy hid herself away, surviving
the only way she knew how. Now she is happy in her carefully reconstructed

Phoenix singer/front man Noah Clark came to Long Island City with a goal — one

force her back into hiding and destroy their chance at happiness?
