Character Crush: James Evans of Bondage Wedding

Character Crush
Because Authors Have Crushes Too!

 1.  Use the first three words that pop into your mind to describe James.

Rugged, Sexy and Honorable.

2.  What social niche did James fill as a child–bully, nerd, cool kid, something else?
James was a jock in high school. Anything that would push his body to the next level, he had to try it. When he entered the military, he wasn’t happy being an ordinary solider. He had to join the Special Forces unit. If it was challenging and pushed the edge of the envelope he was all for it.

3.  Does James believe in following the rules?
James is adamant about following the rules. After all, he made them up and firmly believes everyone should follow them.

4.  What is a typical night out for James?
Until he is assigned as Amanda’s bodyguard, James spends his free evenings in the dungeon at DiscipliNation hoping Amanda will take off her collar and come play with him. He knows it’s wishful thinking, but a man can hope.

5.  What’s the luckiest thing that ever happened to James?
While protecting Laura Branson in the book Bondage Celebration, he was hit by a speeding SUV. Although his injuries were fairly minor, he was relieved of his duties until the doctor cleared him, thus giving him the time he needed to protect Amanda from her stalker.

6.  Does James believe he will ever settle down? If no, why?
His parents were soulmates and James desperately wants to experience that for himself, but until he finds Amanda, he doesn’t believe he’ll ever share that type of bond with anyone.

7.  What is the one thing James wants most in the world and what will he do to get it?
James wants Amanda and will stop at nothing to until he owns her body and soul.
